Jumperoo arrives

Here is Gwen in her bouncer this morning, she kept peeking down inside the harness, in this picture it looks a bit like she's looking in her knickers or something- I'm sure we have all that to come!
Then the jumperoo arrived from tesco direct after lunch and I set about putting it together, (there is still a vital part missing in this picture as I didn't have any batteries to put in it.) Gwen was instantly quite fascinated by it, touching things and trying to work out how to move things. She was quite lent forwards in it initially (she kept dribbling on the front of the seat and I worried that she might be too little for it still.

Here is the jumperoo from a distance still missing the front toy.

After a nap we tried the jumperoo again and this time she was holding her head up quite well. It was strange how she suddenly seemed so much more grown up, perhaps because she looked more upright. She spent a long time just staring at the front toy and smiling, she even did what sounded like a very mini giggle, and later when I changed her nappy (she likes her bum being rubbed by a towel!) she did another mini giggle. I got very excited and tried to make her giggle again but no, she then looked at me like I was crazy for going overboard with the excited voice. I think she worked out that when she made the toy jolt the lights and music went off.
