Jumperoo arrives

Here is Gwen in her bouncer this morning, she kept peeking down inside the harness, in this picture it looks a bit like she's looking in her knickers or something- I'm sure we have all that to come!
Then the jumperoo arrived from tesco direct after lunch and I set about putting it together, (there is still a vital part missing in this picture as I didn't have any batteries to put in it.) Gwen was instantly quite fascinated by it, touching things and trying to work out how to move things. She was quite lent forwards in it initially (she kept dribbling on the front of the seat and I worried that she might be too little for it still.

Here is the jumperoo from a distance still missing the front toy.

After a nap we tried the jumperoo again and this time she was holding her head up quite well. It was strange how she suddenly seemed so much more grown up, perhaps because she looked more upright. She spent a long time just staring at the front toy and smiling, she even did what sounded like a very mini giggle, and later when I changed her nappy (she likes her bum being rubbed by a towel!) she did another mini giggle. I got very excited and tried to make her giggle again but no, she then looked at me like I was crazy for going overboard with the excited voice. I think she worked out that when she made the toy jolt the lights and music went off.

Video after the jabs - 25th May 2012

This video was taken on Friday 25th May, after Gwen had had her 2nd lot of jabs. She hardly cried this time. It was a lovely sunny day again (we have been very lucky weather wise lately) and when we got home I opened up the patio doors and got her in playing in her moses basket which is now downstairs (somewhere handy to plonk her!) I took this little video of her kicking. Little note to self when I took off the little plaster it left quite a mark for quite a while (does this means she's a bit allergic to plasters? We shall see in the future)

Gwen in a little video with moo moo

I like to think she is attempting to talk to moo moo here, but she may infact just be working on some sounds. At the end she does a big dribble (lovely)

Gwen 13 weeks

A sleeping Gwen, showing off her mullet hairstyle at the back, she still has a thick bit of hair at the bottom only!

Chris was doing some skydiving with Gwen and blowing on her face to represent the wind.

After a sunny day walk to the shops, I put Gwen in the shade, Bruce came to guard the pram (I wish - he just wanted to sit in the shade)

Gwen performing her own summery fashion show, we have been given so many lovely outfits thats she's already close to growing out of!

A little Vid

Afternoon out and some recent pics

Post bath, not looking that impressed.

This is how I find her sometimes after a nap, on her knees!

Dinky fingers

 Nanna and Gwen xx

Another post bath, and still not so impressed

Todays day out started off in Torquay where both Chris and I got some trousers. Then we went to Stoke Gabriel and the millpond. There was a wedding reception going on, with a crabbing competition by the millpond. Here is a sneaky pic of the bride I took.

Chris having a little fish

Gwen snoozing next to the car.

We had a nappy situation which is quite tricky in the back of the car I must say. Chris is currently doing bathtime upstairs while I sit on the sofa watching the Voice. Weekends are great when Dad is not gigging!
