We went to Paignton Zoo on Sunday as it was a lovely sunny day. We took a picnic and found this lovely picnic area where a few families were lounging in the sun. Gwen I've noticed is quite a sociable thing and crawled off to see this family, they were't exactly next to us as you can see from the picture below. The children eventually started to talk to her, she sat waiting patiently by them as the two older kids were play fighting and then the youngest of the 3 came over and started to say hello. I can only imagine she was giving them her lovely cheeky grin. They were leaving as you can see in the picture so I took sneaky picture as it quite a cute scene. Gwen then stayed there for a fair while just watching them go.
Hers she is sat alone, quite happy, didn't even notice that she was alone it seemed. We called her and she looked left and right and eventually found us behind her and crawled back over!
Trying to get a nice picture with Gwen is quite difficult now! She doen;s tlook that impressed in this one!
This is the closest we got to getting one of her with Chris, the rest she is writing around trying to get out of his grip.
Here we are with the goats, Chris says he would like one, and he's really serious about it!!
After the zoo we went shopping and I umm'd about whether to get a paddling pool, there was one with no picture for only £3 so I got it. It was great, we blew it up when we got home and I put her in this swimming cossie for the first time. She loved it, she played in the for ages with her tea set..
After a while I thought that water looks a bit murky and then got the dreaded whiff! She had only gone and messed all up her back, the swim nappy did not hold it all in, it was seeping out the sides! Suffice to say it was just yukk!!!! A two person job for me and Chris! I really hope she wasn't drinking the water after she did it! But she seems fine a few days later so no harm done obviously!
