Also she is watching the Archie and bo show, a series of cartoons voiced by the lad who played artful dodger to my nancy many years ago and is now living in America performing in some crooners show. ( as well as voicing this)

Here she is at 8 months old. Making a few sounds, giving me some cheeky cute expressions. She makes me smile, bless her. 

Gwen doing the Commando crawl / the slug

Here we have Gwen's chosen method of moving - the commando crawl /the slug. She can get around quite well and tries to get out of the lounge door rather a lot. She's not that fast though, she is more speedy when there is a laptop involved - as demonstrated in this film. If you shut the laptop and put a toy on top, she's not so interested.

We visited Gemma and her mum heather today and gwen had a go on their rocking horse x

8 month review

This is what I dressed her up in for her review- we seem to have a lot of pink clothes but as we were given it or got it cheap from a car boot I can't be fussy! I like the expression of 'get off its my ball!'
The review went well, she took a little wooden cube from the lady and then swapped it to her other hand which was what she was hoping she'd do, and she picked up a rice krispie from her palm with a pincer grip, so top marks there too! She needs to eat more as she hadn't put on much weight in last 6 weeks but maybe it's cos she's teething? anyway I'm gonna give her lots of high calorie stuff now to see if it helps her sleep better too.
She was a good girl and smiled lots, she's a funny little sausage with cracking expressions! Oh and she's started saying dada dada and some times it sounds like bububub. Bless her she's a little sweetie except when she won't go back to sleep in the early hours and is grinning at you in the dark, and you feel sooooo ready for sleep! I'm sure we have a lot worse to come!

A little tooth is on its way.

There's been a couple nights when Gwen has had a good sob but she stops after some teething powder. Today I thought I'd see if there were any teeth and I can finally feel a sharp edge poking through. So not many more gummy smiles left xx quite tricky to get a picture so you'll have to look carefully to spot them- 2 at the bottom.

I think she looks quite good in a hat! I used to love hats, in fact I got bullied at school when I was wearing a beret! ( they weren't trendy- I just found one and thought I could pull it off) primary school just wasn't ready for me! Oh and I socked a girl round the chops for calling me names, funnily enough I didn't get picked on again.
