Gwen has the top teeth but not the centre ones! She's a little vampire.

Gwen is 11 months today

Yikes! Not long til the big.. 1! She has started to wake up early!! 5 , 6 if we're lucky! It's a killer if you go to bed a bit late.

First chocolate biscuit

It went down a treat. The health visitor weighed her the other day and she's only put on 3 oz in 6 weeks which isn't very much at all. She said we could give her the odd biscuit. But from the mess she made I might stick to non chocolate!

Some new clothes

We bought Gwen a couple of things today. Her grandparents sent over some money from the USA, so I wanted to but her some new things. Here are pictures of her smart jacket and stripey warm cardigan I will take pictures of the other things.

Back to Saturday work

Going back to doing Saturdays today at stagecoach. I'll know some of the kids as I used to teach them when they were little but still a bit apprehensive. Will miss my Gwenny today, Chris is taking her the zoo.

At Whizz kids, she seemed rather taken by this game. The blocks spin round with different pictures on the back. The negatives I can find at this place is that it smells of cooking fat as they do crappy meals for kids. There's also lots of older than 3yr olds on the under 3 section, so I have to keep an eye on her. Perhaps in school hold it won't be so bad. I also feel a bit of snob which isn't a nice way to be, but there are a few choice types there!  

She liked pulling herself up on the netting. Left leg is a bit turned in though, will keep an eye on that!

Not a great night

Last night Gwen was awake for a long time! I don't want to keep feeding her to get her back to sleep as its just making it worse for the future. Last night was perhaps the wrong time to start as she hasn't been well. After a dose of Calpol and teething gel and powder- still not sleeping and after maybe 2 hours I gave in to her whimpering and fed her 5am. Today we both feel rough! Early night I think! I spoke to the health visitor today about a sleep plan, might start when she is fully well. Today she's been quite happy but not eating very much still. She is demonstrating the new had tilt in one pic! She usually had a cheeky smile and it looks very cute!
